They provide structure, accountability, expertise, and inspiration to enable a person to learn, grow and develop beyond what he or she can do alone. Health coaching incorporates evidence-based health behaviour change interventions and techniques from behavioural medicine research literature, positive psychology, health, athletic and performance coaching psychology’s. These skills are often used in health promotion, prevention, early intervention, treatment and the management of chronic conditions as a form of lifestyle medicine.
